The accumulated warm ups for several days.

STORYTIME! One of the commonly asked questions I receive is "why are you called warlord of noodles"..... Yeah one look at my DA you know I am The biggest of big Ronin warriors fan, I have a marathon of it around Christmas every year.  I love it, but not just because of that Derptastic dub (Okay, It's a little because of that derptastic dub).

See when I was in Middle school, I was veeeeery angry almost all the time.  I really hated people around me.  I kinda scared me.  I was worried that intense emotion would overthrow my free will or something and I was really gonna hurt someone.  Then along came this thing.  There's this Kento guy worried about the same thing I was.  There's this Anubis guy(shuten doiji) who'd done all sorts of awful things, coming back from it.  It then also gave me the tools to start hating people less.  Whenever someone started doing something I thought was stupid I thought "well why are they doing that,  this seems like something Ryo would be doing, and he does things cause he has a sense of things being fair, maybe this person is being annoying because he thinks things are unfair too."  I got in the habit of personality mapping to make myself less angry with people.   Looking and finding their "guiding Virtue" as it were, that I could focus on.  Knowledge goes a long way in controlling one's wild emotions.  And most of all Learning that I am master of my own will and no matter how angry I am, I ALWAYS have a choice in how I react to it.

Later on I found stuff Like Myers-Briggs and the Keirsey Role varient and personality mapping became a lot easier.  Read more about it here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Br… There is no way I am accomplished at this, But I thought it might be fun to Try to type out the cast of my favorite show to commemorate what I think is kind of a turning point.  Some characters I don't know enough about to be confident they are accurate.  Frankly Mukala Became Inventor almost for my purposes only since we get almost nothing.  I do think He would be Close to Ryo on the spectrum though.   And you'll laugh at my inclusion of Byakuen under Supervisor but I stand by it.  And this is Based on my tentative knowledge of the Original Japanese Characters, their personalities did go a bit askew in the English version.

And, Yes, I do use this technique to help develop my characters.

Never heard of the 'toon being referenced, but unique to think they have a character that can clearly fit every personality type. Interest piqued.
(ISFJ pride. <3 99% sure Vinkle's alongside me as being one.)

MBTI is certainly deep and accurate enough to be a good way to put a character's personality in perspective without taking away flexibility, that's for sure.
